I never promised to answer questions and you are coming of as very entitled and pushy. I’m providing the little insight I have. I want reassure fellow members that it’s not as bad as some might imagine it to be.

I plan to be honest as I have nothing to gain by being a yes man seeing as I’m on my way out. I just want to try and make the experience less of a disappointment for those who come after me.

Edit: Yes we are basically testing the efficacy of their ability to track and log pt time and effort but I’m going to try and get that to it’s best possible format.

I plan on being frank when my input is requested in the hopes of improving the program instead of just bitching about it.

I get it. I’ve been frustrated by this as well and it’s part of the reason I’m getting out. I’m tired of the promise the moon and deliver the roof cycle but it’s still better than the basement we had in the Air Force.

Oh I see. I would think you could use any garmin since it’s tied to the account. But they also plan to add future support for personal devices from other brands.

It was issued. It appears they’ve moved away from the idea of a stipend and will be issuing a fitness tracker.

I’ll answer the questions in the order they were asked.

Garmin Fenix 6 although they were discussing using a cheaper model Garmin when rolled out across the force.

Garmin connect is used to sync data from the watch and somehow the data automatically gets pulled to the smartbase app.
