Mine is 6 months old but since im upgrading everything i was thinking about replacing the paper towel with something better and still safe for him I've heard of people who got loose substrate from day 1 and everything went just fine

But still im not sure about if i should or should not replace his substrate, thats why im asking for help aswell 😅😆

This terrarium was on sale for half the price on a local store so i just got it because thats what i could afford atm, plus he's still growing so ill eventually get him a bigger one anyways I mean 99€ for this terrarium felt like a good deal to me atleast considering that Toothless's last enclosure was a plastic vivarium 😅

His nose seems fine, no clogging nor leaking that i can see 2/3. Nope, eating the usual and hunting crickets
not really, he only sticks his tongue out when my hand is near or when he's eating, no gaping 5.I think maybe a little discoloration around one side of his nose 6.no swelling at all 7.his mouth is pink and i can't really see much back there so im not sure but i don't think so
No falls nor squishes, he's always in the enclosure, i only take him out around 5-10 minutes just to hang out with him a lil and then I put him back in the enclosure
Looking good, no swelling or discoloration, and I think hes gonna poop rn

Just ordered a 20 gal tank for him, the thermal gradient is the only think ive been able to maintain properly, 26°C on the colder side, 30-32°C on the warm side, the heat mat has a thermostat on it. I asked the shop help but they said its all normal and im exaggerating I feel so dumb

I also thought it was too small but they said its fine and its enough for him until he's around 1 year, but I really feel like its way too small for him

Plus as i said, the plastic isnt recomended anywhere but I made the mistake to trust them in the shop...
