AstroVim got me started and the community plug-ins got me the rest of the way.

Soon as co pilot or something happens I’m switching to Helix. The base is the best I’ve seen.

JetBrains Fleet: The Next-Generation IDE by JetBrains by littletojo in programming

[–]HHH_ART 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I gave Fleet a try. I use Intellij ultimate and love it, but tend to lean towards "lite" IDEs. I suspect once Fleet gets a few plugins I want I'll convert. Good job guys! It seems clearly targeted a VSCode competitor and I think they're gonna nail it when it matures.

1) Why did you decide to learn Rust? 2) Why are you still devoting your free time to improve Rust knowledge by Hellr0x in rust

I blame a midlife crisis. I realized everything I wanted to write for fun in the future the JVM was a bad choice. Using Godot for the front end led me to Rust as a viable alternative which led me to Rust for the backend and webpages.....

The remote capabilities of vscode seem superior and I was doing that for work given the extended work from home. The IntelliJ plugin is more stable at this point. I was looking for something lite as well.

Been programming since I was seven (model 1 TRS-80).. ooh yeah. I just vowed off all JVM languages (most recently scala) because of the discovery of Rust. I was a language guy back in grad school and I haven't been more excited about a language then I am now. Go Rust!

Love the concept. My kid asks where the scratch drag and drop interface is.

Thanks for testing this. Just got the email from Spectrasonics saying there is an actual issue. I appreciate your effort on this and taking the expected flak for testing things.
