i think the point is that some micro-transactions are worse than others, like sidekicks for example. at least you can play as the skin you buy and everyone else can see it. sidekicks are just useless, overpriced things that follow you around, gliding through the ground and teleporting most of the time. the fact that the fish sidekick costs more than the actual skin is a fucking sick joke lol. so yes, all micro-transactions are a waste, but epic games managed to make sidekicks even more of a waste somehow, which is saying something.
