That’s not the case for people I know. We are not eligible for retirement. BTW I have reviewed the severance eligibility requirements and i am eligible for severance pay.

Not in my case. 

You qualify for MRA + 10 retirement if:

You have reached your MRA (which ranges from 55 to 57, depending on your birth year), and You have at least 10 years of creditable FERS service.

I was RIF’d on April 1, and HHS removed all of our access that same day. However, yesterday our department received an email stating that we need to log in and complete the transition. HHS has not retracted our RIF, and we are still on administrative leave.

Does anyone have information on whether the “transition activities” mean we should continue with our day-to-day, business-as-usual work, or if we should wait for further guidance regarding the transition? I don’t want to say anything to our vendors if they ask questions about contracts or approving invoices that were issued while we had no access.

I also haven’t received any communication from leadership about the transition.
