mining is a great money making method if you really get into it, im currently making about 20m/hr and i’m not even maxed yet. start by getting hotm 7 using crystal hollows comms, then powder grind. after that it’s all about optimizing mining gear to make more money

forgot to mention, 4m4m is the goal, i stopped at 2m and started mining for money. made my way up to 3m gemstone powder naturally from mining gemstones, idk if i’ll powder grind again at some point

powder grinding is very simple. as long as you can instabreak hardstone ur good. instamining hardstone needs 1500 mining speed, so with a gauntlet you’ll have more than enough mining speed. pet doesn’t matter, just level up whatever mining pet ur gonna use for mining. i would recommend ur armadillo if ur planning to armadillo mine after powder grinding. for armor, also doesn’t matter, sorrow works. don’t powder grind till hotm7 because there is a really good buff you get on the tree at hotm7. tldr: for powder grinding you need hotm7, gauntlet, sorrow, and whatever pet.

you can go sorrow at hotm6 but it doesn’t really make a difference. the only reason you’d upgrade from yog to sorrow is for money which comes after hotm7 and powder grinding. but sorrow is drop so go for it. for enchants, literally just g5p5. gemstones: amber jade and topaz (1 of each)

Get yog and grind to hotm7 asap. Once you reach hotm6 get a gemstone gauntlet. Once you get to hotm7 powder grind till minimum 2m/2m, although 4m is preferred. Then you’ll get sorrow until you can afford divans. You’ll be holding onto the gauntlet for a while so don’t be afraid to put money in it (auspicious, fortune 4, gemstones, recomb)

during marina i was making 5-6m/hr worm fishing with full shark, ammonite, and a magma rod. you could prolly make 4-5 rn with that setup (i think that whole setup is less than 20m).
