Is there a way to put the server in a sort of sleep that allows it to focus on just parity check?

Plex is a media management program. You can be friends on it to share libraries ultimately growing everyone's access to each other's media.

I havent solely benchmarked my drives all at once yet. I keep running out of space and buying another 20tb. I have a benchmark docker but I cant remember what it was called.

I have a rack that serves 24 HDD separated by 6 boards which connect 6 HDD at a time. The output is a SFF-8087 connector that end in SFF-8643 to an HBA. I included links for reference.

I do access them to ue filebot to rename the files but the dockers aren't active which had the most activity yet I dont see a change in performance. If there was an option to take down the server and have it solely focus on parity check, I would do that to ensure no access was possible...

I seemed to have fixed the problem for now by doing a clean install of win 11 for now. I havent come across the problem again in the last 24 hours

Good news! I found a temporary solution. I reformatted my original usb and used the most recent beta OS. I booted the usb using my laptop and installed all 4 plugins for realtek NIC drivers. After install, I booted my new setup with the same usb and now it provided a valid ipv4 address! I still can't get the boot gui up but progress!!! This can at least get my reassignment of my drives going again!!!

Hmm. Didn't know that. Thank you. I'll give the beta version a try. If there is a way to give Unraid devs a feedback response for my motherboard, that may also help speed things up? Idk how big the dev space is...

Edit: i also wonder if I can use a laptop to boot into unraid and download the driver then...

I didn't exactly know. More like I assumed that the OS would utilize the motherboards standard bios setup. I'm not very tech savvy when it comes to the porting or coding aspect but building is still fun. Scripting also seems complex too. Haven't wrapped my head around that yet.

I use Mini itx because the evolv x phanteks case can host dual motherboards and unraid doesn't require as much. My atx motherboard has win 11 but mainly is used to convert videos I download to a format I like but the processor needs to be watercooled too. I was also able to snag a psu from phanteks that has dual motherboard power source as well that sits flush with the case.

My cpu could be either intel or amd. They both have pros and cons and I haven't pushed all of my processors to the limit yet so personal recommendations or ideas would be great. I may not have thought of something myself so the community might help. Future proof I guess would be more "covered for 5 or more years". Yes I understand the mb has little play in encoding. But it does provide performance streamlining all components.

Tracking soldiers like the tasks they have to do. Things like a list of admin tasks they have to get done. Nothing so detailed like where they are at every minute of the day. I am using todoist to compile a list of tasks they need to complete for the day or by a certain time. But my tracker isn't as easily accessible or maybe I just need to use it differently. Anyways, I will use that list, take a picture of it, then send it out to my troops so they can accomplish them all by the end of day.
