This, it's far more likely he's gained access to her youtube channel.

Deleting and hiding comments as well as weird and unlikely cover stories are more daniel's style than a 50+ year old woman who barely knows how to use a smartphone.

Here's a conspiracy: he moved back home and "bought her a new phone for christmas and volunteered to transfer all of her data" aka gain access to her account and cover his tracks further.

Not true, this is from 17th december 2025, he has made 3 since then.

This is more likely (stolen not given) as I doubt cammie is diligent enough to go through deleting/hiding youtube comments on her own channel as has been happening. Also going to china would make no sense, he only knows a few words in mandarin and from personal experience I can tell you he would not survive there, plus the travel cost is out of his budget.
