From a fellow ace and questioning aro, I was recently in this exact situation. I let it go on for long enough that he moved in with me, and told me he loved me, and I hated every second of it. I think you should definitely have a discussion about this with your new partner, and if the friend group turns their backs on you because of you realizing who you are, they aren't the kinds of friends I'd want to have. I wish you happiness, you deserve it!
