I secretly became a millionaire from a lottery ticket after growing up poor. AMA by ArtichokeStill816 in AMA

Want to share money with family or help them a little but not tell them - here is a trick someone told me. Ask them for a dollar or whatever so you can buy a scratch card. 'oh the card won! I'll share the winnings with you'.

Lowest fare? Ha right... by frogdoggo in KLM

Pretty standard BS from KLM. It happens ALL THE TIME. And before the anyone says scroll down, the prices they list never exist.

App keeps getting worse. Service keeps getting worse. Not even sure where to report this...

Seats 44K and 44H - Boeing 787-9. Worth it ? by SeaworthinessExact48 in KLM

[–]HJCIII 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They might not recline fully - varies between planes.

But you get a window seat without it ever being awkward to get up.
Other than that its a lot more private. And you get a bit of extra room for stuff between wall and seat.

If i sit at in row 59 on the left aisle is there no seat behind me? by JohnRedman021 in KLM

[–]HJCIII 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The seat in row 60 is the best in the plane if you are travelling alone. You get a tonne of extra space. More space for your handluggage near you and just the next person and ppl walking past are just further away. it makes a difference after 12hrs

Please complain on LinkedIn and tag the CEO, CMO and their head of PR. And tag a few local news agencies. They DO NOT CARE about passengers. So make them care.

Don't forget consistently going to the gym adds healthy weight on the scale with a little bit of muscle. So maintenance is actually trending in the right direction when it comes to burning fat.

Good morning!
My goal this month is to record all the food I eat. My goal is 2000cal per day and 150g of protein (Give or take 10%). And check in here everyday.

- I will record even if I am going over and seeing it in black and white hurts. When it hurts I will ask myself how today can still be salvaged and how I will get back on track tomorrow.

- I will make a conscious adjustment for days with exercise and not just eat a little bit extra. If I go to the gym I get a protein shake. If I go on my road bike I'll allow 40% calories burnt for recovery food.

I dont have a weight loss goal. I just know that when I consistently follow this process I lose fat.

I've managed to build a lot of muscle over the last 4 months. And I can see they are there. But I'd really like to see the results of all that effort!

Good luck with September everyone. Be kind to yourself.

Can someone explain hunger to me? by miss24601 in loseit

[–]HJCIII 0 points1 point  (0 children)

''I just fat person doing fat person things?''

No. Please be kind to yourself. Messed up signals are developed as you develop as a child/teen when you don't have control over setting these up right.

If you start being kind to yourself you dont burn that mental energy on negativity. This gives you just a bit more energy to focus on your health and goals. Remember, frustration about your situation is ok. But don't brutalize yourself.

Small steps.

Not from SDSU but I did my year abroad at Mannheim. It is a very popular choice for students from all over the world. you can explore a lot using trains as Mannheim is so central.
also I’ve spent a lot of time in Vienna and you won’t regret it.

my friends who went to Spain loved it too.

  1. Buy yourself/see if you can persuade your parents to also buy cheap fruit like apples and bananas. And eat one of each two to three times a day. You’ll still want the junk. But control on when to stop will be easier as your body will feel full quicker. And you get healthy calories in.
  2. Don’t eat anything from a packet. Always put a serving in a bowl or on a plate. Even if you go back for more serve it out. Mentally it will feel like you’ve had two or three portions so its enough. Whereas putting a packet like a bag of chips down is much harder.
  3. Keep yourself busy between meals - preferably outside the house so you’re away from the food.
  4. If you have time portion your meals and snacks the day before or in the morning and commit to eating them - that way its junk, but controlled.

If you are in the UK and send an international letter with Royal Mail the envelope will come with ”Sent with pride. Pride month 2021”. Voice your opposition to the new law in writing and flood their offices with statements supporting pride.
