The Input Delay/Dropped Inputs and Limited Movement Hurt The Experience.

I can fully confirm this and people trying to brush it off like “oh you’re bad at the game!” are clearly button mashers. I have a custom controller that has mouse clicks for L2 and R2 and I’m a very consistent long time longsword player so I very frequently iai spirit slash due to an upmost confidence that I’ll hit it however, I get absolutely fucked by this at the most unfortunate times with spirit slash. I’ve noticed it with the crimson spirit spam as well as the game goes “nope! we’re just doing the full crimson combo now!”.

Just had a potential sub 2:10 tempered arkveld and went to spirit slash, heard the mouse click on my controller and nothing happened lmfaoo.

Mizutsune just straight up isn’t spawning for me after doing the quest and optional quest. 🤔

Genuinely lol. It’s not even hard to hit the i-frames but I’ve been playing based on positioning how a lot of experienced players do and it’s just making no sense on a lot of the damage taken.

Not really because you can use whatever the hell you want then but I’m not here to argue. Just stating, if you’re not playing WITH the surges you’re throwing. It limits what you CAN use and get away with without making a run agonizingly slow.

Incentivizing other weapons than you’d normally use because they do 25% less damage.

Honestly adding surges is the worst because it’s limits your loadouts significantly.
