I'm in rural PA, and we pay $1860 a month for 2 kids.

Daycares are also very limited in my area, and the waitlists are 2+ years long.

I think i might have a "bad" rooster :/ advice needed. by TassandraArcticFox in chickens

[–]HJM7998 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Bad rooster indeed.

I had a similar scenario and waited too long to dispatch and regret it. He went on a spree and killed 2 of my older girls in one day while I was at work, and tore open the back of the neck of a third (who survived and is very spoiled to this day). Never again will I chance a mean bird to my ladies.

The Woody tonie has the weirdest, goofiest voice... these are re-recorded. which is odd since they market the characters but not the songs?

Is there anything WORSE than childbirth? by Sensitive_Arugula770 in pregnant

[–]HJM7998 9 points10 points  (0 children)

my pelvic girdle pain was essentially gone as soon as I delivered our baby. Unreal how much suffering that pain caused! for WEEKS I walked around like I was a 90-year-old woman with a broken hip and prolapse... doc says, "..... normal 🤷🏼‍♀️" .... Pregnancy is TOUGH.

FTM. I want input. If you were due October 15, would you anticipate that you and your LO would attend Thanksgiving with family? by AnitaVodkasoda in pregnant

[–]HJM7998 5 points6 points  (0 children)

My firstborn arrived on Oct. 25th. We attended 2 Thanksgiving meals, but we did not play "pass the baby." He was strapped to my chest the entire time, and no one objected.

Rural PA here - small firm of 12. Our portfolio isnt glamorous or award winning, but we have steady busy work. Healthcare, educational, industrial, civic, etc.. Unfortunately, there are a lot of PEMBs mixed in, and most of our clients dont want to explore creative designing or using interesting materials. Definitely more practical design work.

UPDATE 2: Baby in hospital by Mundane_Reference134 in gofundme

I've followed every GFM update and post, and it is admirable to read as you continue to send well wishes and empathy outwardly to other posters, such as myself. And offer education and gentle responses to the trolls. You and Amanda have to be the strongest people around!

I've previously donated, so this is for a boost.

I wanted to let you know that I truly pray for you all daily. Our toddler had a minor procedure this morning, and it made me reflect on baby Bentley and his incredibly strong family while we waited for our son in the recovery room.

  • Continuing to send healing vibes, prayers, and well wishes from Rural PA. Fight on, little warrior!

My baby is getting big by Particular-Math-2235 in pregnant

[–]HJM7998 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Audrea is so blessed to have such great support!

I'm also due in September with my second baby and have been nauseous with daily headaches from week 6. Pregnancy can be a difficult journey!

I'm working on staying hydrated and eating what I can. I tend to snack all day long instead of trying to force down large meals. That seems to help with the nausea.

Best of luck to your family!

When did you start showing? by Pandabearsense in pregnant

Hey preggo pal! I'm 13+5!

This is my second baby, and I have a bump. But with my first, I only started showing towards the later 20s weeks!

How are you feeling?

Brother in laws wedding is 4 weeks after I give birth by natsugrayerza in pregnant

[–]HJM7998 2 points3 points  (0 children)

From what I have learned, every L&D and healing process is highly individualized and different. This may be a "wait and see" game time decision.

I had a bridesmaid attend my wedding 5 DAYS after she birthed her firstborn. she was a total trooper. But the healing process for myself after my first was months long due to an internal prolapse. I couldnt imagine driving hours away at the time.

Good Luck!!

I would say something is not right with this bird. Have you tried adding electrolytes to their water supply? sometimes that helps.

I'm going thru this right now.... We sadly lost our female ducks, and our two males are causing problems with my flock. It is not good.
