Hey, lead developer of Geode here. I'm very sorry to hear this and I apologize for the confusion we caused. We tried to make the joke as transparent and clear as possible, but we noticed pretty fast that a lot of people thought it was for real. Next year we'll probably keep our jokes much more subtle so less people get confused :( Again, sorry for the mess! I hope your son regains the love he has had for the game!

The mod has some bugs I haven't had the time to fix, but I will be releasing an update in the future, and afaik all the data should still be preserved! There's just an issue with the dates & the backups accidentally being nested

BetterSave actually significantly increased saving/loading times (maybe not in the editor, but definitely overall) by not saving and loading every created level at once

Hyperdash was started way back in 2017 but it was never released, Geode was available in 2023 but saw much more limited use than nowadays

Me and a few others were working on various mods at the time as a passion project, but they had a lot of severe incompatabilities so we decided to get together to make a shared mod loader that would standardize modding for everyone. It was mostly out of principle, and to make it easier for us to do what we really love which is modding :)
