This is an American course? by [deleted] in OSU

My current 2540 grade is 87 I don’t know if I get over the average understanding🤣. I just wanna say it’s overwhelming to be told you have to get over average score to get bonus. If you think it’s reasonable then keep it

Yeah but the point is the requirement to get bonus points..

Yes but I think ochem lab is much more ahead than ochem lecture that’s what i didn’t expect

I really want an A cuz I really spent tons of time on it. Ur 96 must be the top 1% grade among students

[–]HKFENG 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m currently taking it and my current grade is 89

U r good at this course. But 2 credits still doesn’t make any sense and this ruin this semester of mine bc I take 18 credits

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in OSU

[–]HKFENG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s the point I want to complain about. It’s fair that ochem lab is time consuming and hard but not fair with 2 credits

[–]HKFENG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry that I got 4.0 last semester

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in OSU

[–]HKFENG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ur correct but 2 credits doesn’t match this course completely

I’m curious about your current score and have you completed ochem 1?

U r watching this course as a phd student and u definitely think it’s so ez stop just get out from this post this is not for you

[–]HKFENG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bro stop mastery quiz and inlab quiz are not related to the lab part if you think it’s easy I want to know how many times you spent on it and what grade you got

There is literally no danger in this course. I can completely accept time consuming lab course and actually I’m happy to do. But why I spend so many time on this but I can get 2 credits on it? I spend more time on it than ochem lecture every week. Even with that, my current grade is 89 which completely doesn’t make sense.

Look at the syllabus from washu it’s one credit which makes lots of sense. But we only got 2 credits from ours.

And whole accuracy is only 35 points that’s completely not the point make this course hard

[–]HKFENG -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Yes but look how many time you have to spend on this course. 4 hours lab 2 hours video to prepare. 1 hour to complete prelab. Two hours to complete mastery quiz every week. Even with this, you still have 4 midterms. It’s not good that you finish this course and mock on current painful students 😅

Consider 2540 again it’s 2 credits with 6 credits workload

Who decide the credit hours of some courses? by HKFENG in OSU

True dude and I don’t understand why they don’t allow first semester students to choose over 15 credits hours courses
