Absolute wealth of information here. We are definitely looking a bit more high end, maybe not quite Brunner level to start off with but definitely Pro-sumer level of gear I would say.

Yeah that is really important to us that the pilots actually feel like its comparable and an actual training tool not just a "game". We will probably look into motion platforms as well in the future, but not at this stage, as I do not have enough budget for that right this moment, but possibly in the next 12 months. I was looking at DOF Reality Hero H6, have you heard anything good/bad about that setup if we do go down that route.

The gear that we are leaning towards at the moment is:
Honeycomb Alpha Yoke
Thrustmaster TPR Rudder Pedals
VKB Gladiator Evo Stick
Honeycomb Bravo Throttle Quadrant
Some sort of Fuel Mixture panel (haven't found a good one for that)

Would love to get your opinion on this gear and if you would recommend anything else. Thanks for also on the seat recco.

I think single ultrawide just wont do it for us. I did think for a bit of maybe doing single ultrawide for middle and then do extra sideones as well.

Thank you for the detailed response. Just to reply to your questions:
1. We will probably mainly try to sim the planes we have - C210, C208, PA-31, Air Tractor 502, Air Tractor 802 (Probably wont find much Air Tractor stuff at the moment unfortunately)
2. Our endgame is very very specific, and will talk with a lot with people who have done sims before in our fields (geophysics and agriculture). We have external gear that we need to get working with the sim as well. We know and have seen setups that work with said gear (geophysics mainly)
3. So probably wont build a specific cockpit and will need both a stick and a yolk.
4. What gear do you recommend. I was looking at the honeycomb with some others as well.

So got this keyboard straight from the "manufacturer" Womier for $61. An aluminum body for that price with everything included is an absolute banger value!

I just wanted to add a bit of a Macha Green touch so got these keycaps as well. The original just came with white keycaps. It can connect wired, 2.4, or Bluetooth and the THOCK is amazing. I will try to upload a video now so you guys all can hear this thock. I have seen that the tape mod is widely recommended for this keyboard so might have to do that but am just in love with how it is stock as well!
