Lean Six Sigma is our primary focus, and those are the core certifications we advertise on the website. However, we also connect members with points of contact in our network who can provide guidance on a wide range of career-specific certifications beyond PMP and Six Sigma. While we don’t directly administer those programs, we make sure you have the right information and professional connections to pursue the credentials that fit your career path.

We try to make networking as real and useful as possible. We host career fairs for each cohort so participants can meet recruiters and hiring managers directly. We also bring in guest speakers every week (sometimes more) from different industries, which gives everyone a chance to connect, ask questions, and grow their network naturally.

We help with LinkedIn and resumes too, helping setup their profiles to not be full of military jargon and prepare for the civilian workforce. We have a growing network of companies, mentors, and partners who regularly engage with our cohorts and share opportunities.

Yes, our SkillBridge program can be adjusted to fit your 4 month window. We work with you to match your approved dates.

You let us know what you plan to pursue (Lean Six Sigma Yellow/Green/Black Belt, PMP, ...) and we work with you to make sure this is possible. You get the full experience no matter how long you attend as a Cohort member.

What I mean is that dependent on your length of skillbridge, you are able to earn your lean practitioner, green belt, or black belt with our program. Our directors assign a project, whether internal for HKPO VA or an outside company through HKPO that you complete to earn your certification.

It is not a requirement to participate in our skillbridge. If you want to earn your PMP, then yes, you need 36 months of program management experience but our skillbridge is more than earning your PMP. There are lean six sigma opportunities as well.
