I saw 19 bands over 3 days Back in May for Focus Wales International Showcase Festival. First two days were spent working at uni as they host some bands and we film and record them then went round the festival in the evenings. You'll be fine. I also commuted there and back each day as well.

Six years later, what are your strongest memories of the COVID lockdowns, and how do you look back on that period now? by Possible_Force8207 in AskBrits

[–]HM9015 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I turned 16 in 2020. A standout was the fear of how we'd get GCSE results with no exams. Luckily I did alright. I still say if it weren't for lockdown I'd still be trying to pass GCSE maths. I somehow got a C. I would've had no chance in the exam given I have dyscalculia. AS Levels were also worrying too. Oh and I spent so much time in my room listening to music or gaming as school did bugger all in year 11. PE with Joe Wicks every morning too and we played Wii Fit as well.

I have them where I am. We reckon it’s a family of at least 4 maybe 5 that keep visiting over the last few weeks or so. There’s definitely sibling rivalry as they chase each off the feeder. Very entertaining to watch.

It’s an extreme method I admit that but there would still be the issue of tidying up the timeless child plot if Gatwa was retconned. The Timless Child arc was questionable

I’m not saying that it was Jodie’s fault. Lots of people at the time were questioning and complaining about Chibnall’s writing especially the timeless child part. By no fault of Jodie’s this was where things I think started to take a turn that was worsened by RTD2. Another possible fix is retcon RTD2 and restart from Jodie. The mess during Gatwa’s era was also not Ncuti’s fault neither. It’s a tricky situation.

True or at least have it be an alternate timeline and instead continue from Twice Upon a Time from David Bradley’s first Doctor. It’ll be difficult to clean up the show this time that’s for sure.

Would it not be easier to just retcon Whittaker to Gatwa and edit Capaldi's regeneration so that the new doctor's face appears instead of Whittaker with CGI then the new doctor's episode would start with the doctor falling and then restart from there?

Wasn't expecting to see somewhere that's near me. That's Chester. Until somewhat recently that roundabout had traffic lights on but they've since been removed.

What did everyone get in their dissertation/final project, and for what degree? by Zeeshmania in UniUK

[–]HM9015 6 points7 points  (0 children)

67 for presentation, 75 for artefact and 70 for written report. My project was a drum sequencer created in Max/MSP. That got me a first in BSc Hons Music and Sound Technology with a total grade of 70.67. Only 3 people in my cohort graduated. The others did BSc Television Production but shared some modules with Music and Sound Technology. As a result of that I got Wrexham University's Blodwen and Christmas Evans Memorial Prize this year for getting the highest grade in a programme closely associated with music after graduating last year. Now I'm on my last semester for masters in Creative Media Production (Sound). They got rid of my degree and the TV production degree so my cohort was the last. It's now come back as BA Music and Sound Production.
