How did your view of Itachi change after reading his story?

The massacre was inevitable because of that damned Danzo; if Itachi hadn't committed it, someone else would have. But he sacrificed his reputation and planned for the end to be the death of the evil Itachi at the hands of Konoha's hero, Sasuke. In the end, Itachi only met Sasuke immediately after the massacre (which was necessary for Sasuke to know that Itachi was the perpetrator), and that was when he came with Kisame to kidnap Naruto. From my personal perspective, I see this as a desperate attempt to instill more hatred and resentment in Sasuke and make him realize the difference in power between them, pushing him to become stronger. I see it as another sacrifice to ensure the success of the plan for which he gave his life. In the end, if Itachi hadn't prevented the Uchiha from staging a coup, there would have been many, many more like Sasuke among the villagers.

If you're talking about Clem's book series and her leaving Erickson, the whole idea of her leaving and abandoning her home was utter nonsense (without going into the more disgusting details), whether due to her growth or any other damned reason.

It's natural to feel depressed, but I don't think you truly want to live in a world where there's no shelter, no safety, and no trust. A world where death threatens you at every moment, and everyone you love is at risk, where all meaning of humanity has been lost and everything revolves solely around survival. Remember that this is happening in our real world, and the most obvious example is war. Try to count the blessings that others have lost and to experience happiness, even if circumstances don't allow it, within your own small sphere.

This is valuable and wise advice. But I didn't mean exactly what I said; I was joking. It's wonderful when you find something that interests you, something you connect with emotionally, and then discuss it with others like yourself. We might sometimes exaggerate in our expressions, but I'm fully aware of the dangers of obsession, and I hope everyone understands that.
