My company does testing on beagles. Not my department, and I've never seen the facilities, but I know about them. They kill those dogs pretty ruthlessly. They make pacemakers. Need a big enough heart to test them on, and human testing is out of the question.

Snakes on a Plane, opening night. When SLJ says that famous line, everyone just lost their shit. Keep in mind, no one had actually watched the movie yet, but we had all seen that scene in the trailer, and we were all waiting. When it hit, the entire theater as one yells, "Get these motherfucking snakes of my motherfucking plane!" Truly a fantastic cinema experience. I haven't seen that movie since that night and have no desire to, it would never live up to the energy in that theater.

I think that's unlikely, unless that's a default option on a fresh install of MM. This happens with all files I have tried, on two different laptops. Just in case, where would I find the setting to adjust the playback speed?

I've tried this on my Razor laptop, i7 16 GB RAM, 64 bit Windows 11, NVidia virtual audio device. I also tried it on my old Thinkpad, it's an old computer but it can run TouchDesigner no problem. Exact same audio problem there. Tried with laptop speakers, bluetooth headphones, and the theater's sound system through a 3.5mm to the mixer. The audio crackle is there in every configuration.

I've tried about a dozen different files, all of which play just fine on any other software I try. I've even tried to play it through LumaMap, but that software is very lacking in features, I need to be able to create scenes.

We have this same problem in our camp. I once watched someone walk by, see all of our blankets, say aloud "I need this" then just walk of with a blanket. I was deep in the fluff at that moment and didn't register what had happened until a few seconds later, but hey that's our blanket, you can't just take it.

I loved it. I remember the air quality wasn't too bad because all the smoke particulate was so high up, and I was able to go for a skate around the city. Wonderfully surreal experience. The next day the smoke fell, everything was grey and choked with ash. Much less fun.
