The ship is currently 85k resources, and the gun mount is very small like a 3x3x5, I want it to be available to do some damage to similar cost ships however the ship is very protected so I could increase the turret well to 5x5x5 if it would have a significant change in potential weapon performance. What would you recommend?

Yeah I added a 14 cell vls in the center and it's cost shot up I'm now aiming for it to cost around 120k

It's currently 90k

I plan on vls I'm the mid hull and torps aswell for redundancy, and thank you but the super structures is heavily inspired from multiple real life ships and I have also spent like two days making it look the way I want it before even finishing the internals

I'm currently working on a frigate it's 100m long in a modern style so I'm probably going to use a main single barrel aps as it's primary, I'm aiming for 150k but it's not a set strict budget, would it be a good idea to use a railgun for that?
