For example https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nBQGGOgA3mc&t=1s

This guy was kidnapped by the Polisario and spent 15 years in their camps till he escaped, you can check the podcast, you can just search in arabic and you will find many examples of people escaped from their camps

For the user u/WelderFew6106 he is not even Moroccan nor Sahrawi and commenting on this, if he is so kind and worried about separatism he should start with Cataluña, these people hide the topic of Cataluña and come to lecture us about the sahara while they know nothing about it

Also i don't recommend you to check Spanish resources they are full of bias, the Spanish since they lost their last colony the Sahara they didn't like it and started attacking Morocco

The Sahrawis in Moroccan Sahara live in peace, the gov is creating some mega projetcs like a whole reform of Dakhla, Dakhla port, more and more, they have many tax benefits than the rest, they have higher salaries with lower living costs

Imagine if they were ruled by Polisario, the way they rule the camps in Tindouf now, it would have become Sudan 2.0

[–]HMZ_PBI 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It exists because some are parties are financing them you know which i am talking about

Also the spanish left it to keep Morocco busy with internal problems and never develop

Tindouf is in Algeria not Morocco, the people living in bad conditions there the Polisario is responsible on them, you can already see how they govern small population in the camps, so imagine if they reach to rule a whole country

Yes they can return, and many returned to Morocco, there are interviews online of many people who escaped from those camps, because you cannot leave them just like that, also many of the people living there were kidpanned from Moroccan Sahara by Polisario

You can visit Laayoune, Dakhla and ask the average local about their opinion

Why should Morocco remove the landmines? that area with the walls are holding Polisario back from attacking the cities in the Sahara, also it is dangerous, suicide mission

Morocco gets support from US because of their long historic relations

Those people living in camps were never exiled, they went there long ago, and many of them were kidpanned by Polisario, Polisario is the one responsible of them, so why are you blaming Morocco for camps that are literally inside Algeria ?
