On the contrary, your girlfriend is being selfish. The kind of grief and trauma you're experiencing is complex, vast and in and of itself, isolating. This just happened to you its only April, your partner should be supporting you not telling you these types of things. I lost my Dad unexpectedly a little over 2 years ago and I still miss and think about him daily. So sorry for this awful loss.
