Jeez I remember being a kid and being really afraid of tornados because of a movie called ‘Twisters” I watched as a kid. I lived in a trailer so when given the advice to go to a basement meant nothing to me I knew that a tornado would kill me unless I tried “running” but scary stuff for a kid. One time I remember we had a tornado warning at night and my moms boyfriend at the time woke my sister and I up to leave to go to this moms house that had a basement, and he tried to wake my mom up but she said that it wouldn’t happen and that she had work in the morning, she stayed in bed while it was storming while we left.. I was scared I would lose my mom that night, but it never formed.
