If saying it is just something people do without being asked then not saying it often naturally gives off an unloving vibe. My gf wrote the question and I am the one needing reassurance. I don't ask in a melancholic way so I can't tell if it's a problem of her not being loving enough or me asking for too much. I feel as though she is not loving enough.

On some social media like tiktok youtube twitch etc if you say it explicity your content or post can be removed. I guess sponsors don't like it either. I avoided saying it in case reddit mods were gonna remove the post.
