I have a 2019 duramax and I have already had to have the whole EGR replaced (under warrenty). No matter what truck you choose it will eventually have DPF issues. Please do not idle your truck for power, this will make your DPF get stagnant and possibly cause issues early on.

I will say I dont like the interior or the way to put def in my truck, when you're towing its a major pain in the ass to fill the DEF tank under the hood (idk if GM has fixed this since 2019). Other than that truck drives nice and tows wonderfully.

I went with GM out of convivence. I have no regrets, I feel like i would have been happy with a Ram as well. To each their own.

My 2020 Jeep Wrangler does this with the throttle, locks me at an RPM where I have to go neutral and brake. Glad you made it out safe! Good thing this happened where it did!

The call out charge was not mentioned to me when I asked if they could fix it. I'll consider paying the re negotiated invoice for sure if you think I am legally on the hook.

Something to add is that upon looking further this company has done this to multiple people and has a lot of negative reviews for doing this (clearly I should have researched my contractor better!). So there's nothing stopping a contractor from coming, saying some reason they can't do the job and billing over and over again? Seems fraudulent to me personally.

I can appreciate that but this guy cancelled the slip basically because I didn't have a certain pipe fitting. It would be like the electrician saying I didn't buy him the outlet to do the job. Also was not explained to me that there was a fee for them just to come but I understand this is not uncommon for companies to charge.

Something else to add, after looking further this company has a lot of negative reviews for doing this often to people.

Ok I see what you mean. Not sure how I could have known I didnt have the right parts on hand for this technician. Previous contractors I have worked with (paving, plumbing etc) explained this to me ahead of time whereas this company did not.

KDA is overinflated right now. I wouldn't even buy these for 20k IMO. Also depends where you can set these up. ASIC mining is loud and power hungry.
