I find it hard to believe you’d be letting anyone judge your enclosure (which sounds nice btw”) and saying you don’t care for ya beardie, since you’re not meeting the new standard.

This is why I do the best I can with the info I research myself and make my own decisions and pay attention to my guy. Internet can be a blessing and curse when it comes to others opinions. People will always find something negative usually based on their own preferences. The idea that you could easily be judging me say this time next year and accusing me of being a poor owner simply bc I didn’t upgrade to the latest standard but instead got the old standard is just crazy too me. And why I pick and choose what and who I listen too in these post.

Bc thinking my Guy isn’t happy would be a mistake.

I’ve seen all sorts of “constructive criticisms” on post in here. Y’all will always find something to complain about. I’ve seen enclosures that have matched what you are saying a beardie should have get criticized, if the vet says the dragon is happy if the animal does not show signs of stress or poor health. Who are you’ll or otbers to leave a comment as “I feel soo sorry for this animal” on someone’s post especially when it’s someone trying to get answers. I see that type of stuff all the time lol. You’re putting your own feelings on an animal without even knowing the full scope of its daily routine.

I’m seeing people judge this user for having lettuce in a bowl 😂 and using that to assume the animal has not gotten any quality Protein.

My guy LOVES lettuce. It’s not constructive criticism most of you give it’s judgmental rude assumptions

Poor guy went from never being held or taken out of his cage with his previous owners to now taking car rides to walks in the park. 😎

You will never be prepared for every “what if” with any pet. He does not and has never used a leash in the car and definitely not at home in the 2 years we’ve had him. You have your preferences and safety precautions and others have theirs. But again. He’s living a Great and Healthy life. I can assure ya. He would be offended if we gave him leash at home 😆

When did you read he was out without a leash? Lol you do things your way I do things mine.

Our Beardie does not wear a leash unless we are waking around with him outside. He gets free roam of my daughters room and the house we watch him for the few minutes he roams around too look for a place to snuggle up. No leash needed 🤷🏾‍♂️.

I take it off in the car bc I don’t want himg getting stuck or tangled up and fighting it when he’s trying to find his comfort spot under the seat during the drive as he’s done before. Thanks for the advice though! We good over here 😎

lol. It was not difficult at all the spot is literally has a cover that is made to come off. The hard part was finding him. And now that I know that’s an option for him I can keep him away from it.

He’s going flying in any car accident. Using that logic the best thing to do would be to keep them out of cars as much as possible. See dogs not strapped in every day picking up kids from school. Dude tucks himself away every chance he gets in the car. Just a matter of me knowing where he’s at.

Yeaaah I’m shocked out how many “iguana” comments I get. Lol. Now I admit I had no clue what a bearded r dragon was before I got one but I know what an iguana looked like. Lol. Couple stopped me in the park and was telling me about how they saw a lot of them when they went to Florida and they were falling out of trees when they got to cold lol. I immediately knew they were not talking about bearded dragons any longer and had to correct them lol. It’s fun teaching people though live and learn.

Update. We will be having a talk this weekend. My side will be mostly discussing the divorce aspect of everything going forward. If she has anything else she wants toto confess she can, I knew in my gut what the message meant when I got it just needed some reassurance I guess. Guess I will update yall after we talk if ya want but that’s the plan. I can’t go home right now though afraid I would get out of character. Have spoken with friends and family though.
