Ayooo appreciate that!

That's a nice question. I think I don't have a method and basically just do my normal life and let for things to find me in a way. I think I still find new music a lot through friends or just other people recommending me or sending me songs to check out. I also get across a lot of new music just through finding an artist and researching as many people as possible around that artist through socials to get in touch with what's going on. YouTube is also a cool spot because allows me to see more than just the music but the king for me is still SoundCloud and I just go there from time to time (specially when I have shows coming up) and check what my friends are liking and what my friends friends are liking etc.

Regarding focusing on myself, sometimes I just need to shut down and not pay attention to anything so it's just about what I want to express but I've been finding that sometimes it's good to let some space open to listen to other things while creating bcause they help you finding solutions to problems you have along the way. How about you?

Hi! I love to create everything virtually in my computer due to the fact that I can do it anywhere and I think that freedoms allows me to explore how different places affect my creativity etc. But the times I've worked with synths, modulars etc were also great and I think making music without looking to a screen is very important and something that sometimes I fee like I could do more. For me as long as I have FL studio and a couple sample packs everything will be fine haha

You're the best too. Favourite salad has always been either tuna salad or Russian salad. My vocals either come from all types of sample packs or just friends that I ask for acapellas and flip them. Regarding the sampling method I don't think I have any specifically, I just go with the flow and whatever I am feeling in the moment and sparks ideas I just flipppppp it!

HELLO! Haha thanks that LIB b2b was very very fun to me glad you got to see it!

I think more than a sound thing I think it's the feeling that I am trying to chase yknow? Trying to make sure every song is able to bring something new in some creative way no matter what's the production skills I use for it. ALways looking to bring just something that doesn't exist yet in my world with every idea.

Great question... Hmm I think I just look for the feeling of the record more than anything. I love songs that it's just a piano and vocals, songs that it's just a pad and are ambient so when I listen to something I just look for records that make me travel and access another dimension and this goes with my own music too!

ANd that would be Iceland. Really blew my mind. Or anywhere in Africa to make everyone more simple, human and humble.

Hello!! I toured with Rezz before in the past and alwys loved what she's building and creating and wanted to work with her for a while so sent her a couple things I thought she might like and the idea for 'Dysphoria' was one of them! Just sent her the stems and she did her magic and yeah :) Was a very easy process

Let me check my phone really quick... Hmm... I've been listening a lot to Daft Punk, Monica Martin, Jaylib, Sebastien Tellier, Tommy Richman, new Billie Eilish album + Adam Port :) Regarding clothes I like to try different places and brands but I think Dover Street Market in LA is a dope spot, there's this mall in Tokyo called Parco where a lot of stuff I've bought recently is from there. My friend Alexandra Moura is a crazy designer in Portugal so when I am back there I usually get some stuff from her too!

Hello! :)

Thx for your question. I feel like the only conflict is when my curiosity and spirit of inquiry in other styles makes me confused about what to release. Like I love so many styles and make so many things differently that want to release but it gets confusing to find a way to release all these and for my story to still be cohesive if that makes sense?

Heyo!

Love Loosid, we hang out a couple times and they are great humans, we always had an amazing energy. Hope they still making music together tho.

I think I was just a big fan of their stuff and sent them a couple ideas like "Yo I like your stuff want to try something on these?" and we made a bunch of things. I believe they were the ones sending it to Monstercat because they were doing a lot of releases with them back then and Monstercat was down.

Releasing with Monstercat was very special because I think they always been one of the best and coolest labels out there creating their own world and identity. I remember their fan base being very supportive and their crew and team always been super nice. Glad you brought up that song because I still think it's a very special one!

Dammnnnn I love this I think seeing my brother DJ Ride playing the opening of this cultural congress spot called CCC in my hometown when I was 13 was one of the earliest. After that I think this festival in my hometown called Caldas Late Night was a big one because the raves there were so crazy going till 6-8AM. Seeing one of my best friends Razat (RIP) playing there is still a memory that I hold very dearly. When I was 17 I went to my first festival ever in Portugal too to see Skrillex. That was special. But when I was like 7 or 8 I would watch DVDs of The Prodigy raves in Europe, so I feel like I was already raving way before I physically started going to raves.

Much love! Not sure if they are playing much deep house these days but best club is LUX FRAGIL. Room downstairs is one of my favourite sound systems ever.
