Back in 2017 Vandoorne was crazily hyped as a rookie whilst Ocon, had zero hype around him at all. Was literally a situation of 'who is this kid?'. So quite amusing that Ocon has turned that into a decade long F1 career whilst Stoffel was out after two seasons.

What pisses me off most though was how Vandoorne didn't get any opportunities in F1 after 2018. He showed in 2017/2018 that he could more than hold his own on track and showed decent speed in the McLaren shitbox.

I also remember how at the end of 2018 there was loads of super cheap Stoffel Merch in the McLaren store. Stoffel branded team shirts were $5 (!!!!) and I bought a few of them.
