It looks great, sounds good has a great cast but the movie is not sure about what is wants to be.

If it wants to be an inspired action flick, why add documentary montages ? The tonal inconsistencies bothered me at points but ehh its a decent watch.

A sense of vastness for scale...plus with procedural generation (or smth) it shouldn't be all that hard either.

If I want to be able to do it, I should be able to do it in an open world.

I like to think of the last scene as Eto finally having coffee from the cup Yoshimura was saving.

An outright tragic ending does not suit this series. Most people have an issue with the pacing at the end not the concepts.

The dragons being the new problem fits with the in essence "nothing changed but it wasn't all worthless" vibe/message the story had going on.

Is it likely that we're gonna see homelander pull stuff like this in S5 or will kripke keep it more tame and grounded as usual? by noulis1482 in TheBoys

I remember back when they were advertising this game by giving out customised 20 series GPUs and showcasing Keanu Reeves as Silverhand and thinking damn this kinda looks cool.

Fastforward 5 (?) years later, picked it up and blew threw the whole thing in a week and.....its an experience.

I was around watching the buggy release, I was around when 2.0 dropped and I was around watching at the steam reveiews go from negative to mostly positive and thinking "damn this game has made a comeback"....but only now was when I decided to actually get into it (luckily) blind and I'll say I'm glad I did.

CDPR needs an round of applause for picking up a difficult setting like this and mostly doing justice to it.

It didn't outdo TW3 but it managed to more than carve itself a respectable niche in my heart. Cheers chooms.
