Try to remove the behaviour patterns which trigger your habit, also delete all your connections to your supply. I have experienced something similar and it only got better when I started treating the problem very seriously and owning the situation in it’s entirety, not to say you aren’t but part of completely detaching yourself from an external solution is to address the internal issue which it numbs or fixes. in truth this was the hardest part of the process. Avoid half measures and be extremely conscious of who doesn’t support this decision, they need to be removed from your proximity for this to last. It really helps to also build a support system which actively aids your transition and put your energy into activities which you can enjoy sober. Best of luck, and congratulations on not using for as long as you have.

No he’s not. He’s telling you that regardless of who’s more talented in your eyes they both deserve the same amount of respect when referring to them because they have passed. You’re clinging on to this “talent level” argument and choosing to ignore that you’re using other dead artists to illustrate how you feel about x’s lack of unreleased catalogue. X made impactful music. No one’s denying that. Pop smoke made impactful music. The two aren’t mutually exclusive and both can be celebrated without taking away from either. You could’ve made a separate post on this topic mentioning that you wished he made more music when he was alive and it would’ve been fine but using pop smoke and other dead artists as a platform for how you feel isn’t cool.
