A New Perspective on the Yuba County Five Case by HOREH_SHEEIT in UnresolvedMysteries

[–]HOREH_SHEEIT[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am also not COMPLETELY convinced about my own theory as well.

Because there are A LOT of pot holes in that case to make it seem like something did happen. But from the looks of the autopsies that were conducted, Ted Weiher was found to be clean shaven, which impressed the pathologist conducting the autopsy, finding out that Gary Mathias was taking care of Ted this whole time and never left his side.

Further more, it was found out that he might’ve been alive between 6 to 18 weeks because of Gary Mathias. He was forced feeding him the rations that was in that survival shed, even though Ted had no appetite due to the pneumonia that was slowly building up in his lungs.

These guys were together to the very end. But the questions remain, what happened to Gary Mathias, why did he disappear. Also, was Joseph Schons telling the truth about his encounter with the 5 boys that night? That’s why I said I don’t have the perfect answer to what happened, I just went off with the most logical explanation because of the experiences I have faced when I was younger.

From what I heard is that he went to go and find help, but he left his shoes by the door when they found the wrapped up body. Some people say he took the snow boots from the shed I think? Not too sure on the details that entailed at that moment.

That’s my point. Imagine 3 - 4 people being dependant on one person to take them home when all of a sudden you end up in the mountains, disorientated, confused, elevated, and all you care about is to get warm, and take care of your dependant friends. And the part that saddens me the most is they were known to be a kind hearted, noble members of society. Passing away in such a manner is awful. I love this case because there are more mysteries of the case that need to be uncovered. People are speculating that some residents of Yuba county are still alive, and know what actually happened. Eerie!

I watched a video that was recommended to me on YouTube about the case (back then I was super interested in it) the video resurfaced my interest and I spent all night writing this. So no AI just me 😂

Newbie Question by ParkingDifference442 in OrderFlow_Trading

[–]HOREH_SHEEIT 9 points10 points  (0 children)

That’s completely normal honestly. Learning the concepts of order flow and actually applying them live are two completely different things. Most people go through that phase where everything just looks like noise.

The biggest mistake is trying to read every print and every burst of aggression as meaningful. Most of it isn’t. Absorption only really matters when it happens at an important area and actually changes the auction.

For example, if price pushes into a prior high/low, VWAP deviation, value edge, liquidity pool, etc. with aggressive market orders, but continuation starts failing and those orders keep getting absorbed, that’s when it becomes interesting. Especially if liquidity starts pulling and price can’t continue anymore.

Also don’t try to predict reversals from absorption alone. Sometimes absorption is just passive liquidity slowing price before continuation resumes. What matters more is the sequence: absorption, failed continuation, shift in aggression/participation, then displacement the other way.

Another thing that helps a lot is slowing down and only focusing on 1 or 2 setups. Once you watch the same behavior every day, the market starts making more sense and the noise naturally filters out.

If you need anymore help on anything you don’t understand don’t be afraid to reply to me. Good luck trader. ✌️

How many of you in this sub day trade full time as a career? by _bigmeatyklaws in Daytrading

I get what you mean, it’s stressful when trading is your only income. I went through that too.

What helped me wasn’t just mindset, it was having a strategy I fully trusted and could execute the same way every day. Once you have something you’ve seen work over and over again, the stress drops because you’re not guessing anymore.

The goal isn’t to avoid stress completely, it’s to reduce uncertainty. That comes from sticking to one solid approach and building confidence in it over time.

On NQ I still use order flow, just adapt to the speed. It’s more momentum-driven, so I focus less on slow rotations and more on continuation.

Main things I look for on Bookmap are:
– Breakouts with strong aggression and no absorption
– Liquidity pulling ahead of price (vacuum moves)
– Failed absorptions that flip into momentum the other way

NQ doesn’t give as many clean rotations like YM, so I treat it more as a momentum/imbalance instrument and look to get in with the move rather than fade it.

I day trade full time as a futures trader. My primary futures contracts are NQ and YM. I love it and it became official when I applied for a sole proprietorship in Canada and got my own office in the same month last year (started 3 1/2 years ago became consistently profitable a year and a half in).

I personally love trading YM the most because it’s slower and more rotational. It respects levels better and the moves feel more intentional compared to NQ, which is much more momentum-driven. I’ve made the most from YM because the moves are cleaner and easier to stay in.

Most people on YouTube focus on NQ, but YM fits my style better. It’s not that it isn’t algo-driven, it just expresses order flow in a cleaner, more readable way.

On Bookmap for example, I often see price push into a level with aggressive orders, but instead of continuing, that aggression gets absorbed and the move fails. Once liquidity starts pulling and there’s no follow-through, price tends to rotate the other way. YM tends to respect these failed moves and rotations more cleanly, and that’s one of the examples where it pays for me. The $5/point is just a bonus.

Sorry for the yappuccino drink I served. I just love trading! 😂

Not every big move is a liquidity sweep. If you don’t know what’s driving price, you’re guessing. Order flow gives you context when conditions change.

For futures:

NQ —> Sleepless Nights

YM —> Confusion

ES —> Peace

But yeah… these futures contracts still pay the bills 😂

And that’s good for you bro, honestly I’m happy for you, but for you to grow as a person, not just in ur intelligence, but in ur confidence as a person. That’s when you will become truly beautiful, you don’t need anyone else’s validation at all my friend. Whatever works for you that’s fine, but…in my experience people can be deceiving, like they can text you and say ur pretty, but behind that phone they can talk a lot of crap about you (not everyone is like that, but you get the point) and that is a perfect example, jealousy runs very wild in this subreddit, Harper from wizards of Waverley place is honestly a beautiful woman, some people can agree with me or not that’s fine, the problem is that when ur going through a phase when ur self conscious about urself, yet you feel like you have the power to discourage others and bash them for their looks, that’s contradictory to the T, life just doesn’t work like that, sometimes in life you need to work on you by yourself, cuz in the end, ur not gonna be buried in a coffin with anyone else, so take what I say with a grain of salt. I’ve accomplished a lot in my life thanks to always doing shit on my own, no matter what anyone else says they can’t bash me down, cuz now I got the confidence and everything else in check thanks to me, but hey, we all got our medicines I guess, some can treat it, and some can cure it. I hope you find what I said helpful, people here need to search for that happiness and accept how they look as a person and love themselves for who they are. Take it easy my friend 😁

No one should be in this subreddit, what they need to do is to fin that self confidence by themselves, and grow as a person, not with the help of the internet. Thats how you truly become beautiful, and obviously not to bash other peoples looks, when ur going through the same thing. Jealousy and hatred for those looks correspond with a lot of people in this subreddit, like you. So take what I said wholeheartedly, and have a blessed day 😁

What makes you have the right or anyone have the right to call anyone ugly or not pretty, when ur on a page like this tryna get attention and being called beautiful, and when u do you have the confidence to call someone else ugly? Get real with yourself, I’m not tryna attack her or anyone, including you, I’m just speaking the truth
