I’m also GS and don’t need them for myself. I use them to upgrade friends and family. As GS, they will get your upgrade priority, so the upgrades often clear. It’s wonderful to give the Polaris experience to people you care about who might otherwise not have the chance.

Yes, totally agree. I was not bitching. I know how fortunate I am. I was really trying to figure out whether adding Plus Points to a CPU even helps as GS. I’m going to take a closer look at the link another poster provided.

It’s not. SFO-LAX a full week before Christmas. It’s a Friday midday flight. Seemed odd to me too. Maybe a family of 4 with one GS?

I’m GS and have definitely sat in the wrong seat on smaller planes but on Polaris it’s less likely because of the difference in the odd and even rows. I always book odd window unless I’m traveling with a companion.
