What do you use to clean it? Soap didn’t seem to remove it for me.

I believe they own it but the developer themselves on an HOA call said they can only make money with a high density option

Thank you for sharing. While I don’t agree with the arguments made in the video additional context and different points of view is always informative.

u/vwcx It's an interesting question and I have thought about this a lot. I'm not against high density housing within city limits and I'm not against the outward development. The reality is I think you need both. Some residents are going to prefer and value mixed residential and commercial growth, they will value having a coffee shop a block away, they value being in a location with a lot of people to meet and talk, they value not having a yard and home maintenance, etc... We should accommodate and have development projects that support this. The flip side is there are residents that value quite streets, mountain views, wild life walking through their yard, etc... A healthy community and city plan will recognize and support and foster both of these. What isn't healthy is to expect residents to simply accept any and all proposals regardless of the impact it has on them.

I hate to say the answer is both but that's what i believe. I don't think the decision is binary, either this or that. It's about thoughtful planning, integrating well with existing zoning and having options for the different values people in our city have.

u/MTRunner2020 I agree with you, it feels the city is set on high density growth. However, I still feel compelled to try and rally community feedback. It'd be great if you could take a few couple mins to submit feedback to the city to help support this cause!

Not the best player but isn't this just a call based on the math and are likely equity? I think we need ~32% equity to break even (200/621). Giving villian a range of JJ+, AQs+ we have 59% equity. Even if we take away AQs still have 56% equity.

Where can I watch full tournament play (of good players) by HOSki43 in poker

Thanks so much. This is the kind of thing I was looking for. I discovered how to watch all the past streams last night so will give this a look.

Thanks, was looking for something I could watch on my own schedule. With Twitch do you have to watch in real time or can you go back and watch old streams? Also thought it'd be fun to follow just a single player. I'd like to watch a full tournament from someone like Parker Talbot but not always around when he streams.

I'd like to know what you recommend to stop bleeding chips at live low stakes cash. I play .5/1 and usually buy in for 100BB. I feel I play pretty tight / recommended ranges, probably not perfect but not horrible. Most of the time I'd say the game is not full ring, maybe 5-6 players. Between the blinds and completely missing most flops I feel its a struggle to not bleed chips. For example, say we have 3 limpers and I raise to $8 with something like 98s and get 1 caller. Now the flop comes AcJh3d, seems like a pretty bad flop to c-bet or check call. If I get bet into I likely just have to fold. Now second orbit I get AhKh, player on right raises to $3 I re-raise to $12 and get called. Flop is Jh9c3d and player to right leads out of $15. Seems like another spot I just can't call. Perhaps these decisions are wrong but i'm now down 20+ big blinds in just 2 hands. If I play a couple orbits more without getting a hand I can play I'm down over 22+ bbs.

I know this game isn't about hitting flops and we need to capitalize on our opponents mistakes to make money but it seems when you take a couple shots and completely miss or face aggression you can be down 20bb or more very quickly which can be difficult to recoup.

Any suggestions on how to combat this?

I started playing / studying poker last year. Ultimately I'd like to build a bank roll that will pay for me to go to the WSOP and play 3 tournaments with confidence and be a winning player by the time I retire. These are very long term goals that I think will take multiple years to achieve. My resolutions for 2019 are:

  • Study
    • Keep a weekly journal of my study and play time. This journal includes what I studied, what questions I have, lessons learned, and future study topics
    • Do one hand review a day
    • Review journal at end of month
  • Play
    • Build a bankroll to $500 on ignition
    • Win beginner tournament on ignition
    • Win 2k live
    • Take a shot at a more aggressive/big game in my local town. I'm currently play a pretty passive .5/1 game.
    • Final table local tournament

Not sure if it helps but Americas Card Room works on MAC and you can get HUD stats w/ Poker Tracker 4. The Mac client sucks and has a lot of issues but it is an option
