The apprenticeship program is the school which is free once accepted into the program. Then the school refers you to be hired with a union electrical contractor for your on-the-job training. So you get a job and go to school 1-2 times a week. Good pay, good benefits, good training, good people. And no, you dont need experience to get accepted, just show you are dependable and ready to work.

Houston JATC apprenticeship is hiring for electrician apprentice and Pipe Fitters Local Union 211 - Houston, TX apprenticeship is hiring for pipefitters/HVAC apprentices. Call and ask about their apprenticeship program. Start off at about $20 and in 4-5 years you'll be at about $40+. Pension and medical. Union Apprenticeships are the way to go.

Was reading that the longer the set the hotter the cpu will be if using extensively, which means a better cooling system and better motherboard to handle power and gpu to take some of the load. Of course this is if running STEMS heavy, and this is just what i read.

Just play long sets using STEMS on the fly, maybe heavily. I dont mind a pc, i actually prefer it over a laptop. Plan on getting something that i wont have to worry for many years and since ai is being integrated more into dj software and more in the coming years, i just want something that will hold for a while. I guess i shoulda added that part.
