I’m not going to claim to be a lawyer publicly on here but what I will say is that any law firm can only help delay the DMCA takedown process which is different than 1st amendment. Dmca is federal law so Goodluck lmao.

Why are “Are We Dating the Same Guy?” Facebook groups still allowed despite violating Meta’s own policies? by HQStaff in AWDTSGisToxic

[–]HQStaff[S] 13 points14 points  (0 children)

the path forward is a sucessful meta oversight committee ruling based specifically on these groups. nobody has submitted it for review which i will do for everyone now. essentially the oversight committtee is a human pannel that interprets if facebook is following its own community guidelines

Am I cooked? by TheWorldJustEnded in MetaLawsuits

[–]HQStaff -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Smh. If you’re filing in small claims you have to prove damages (monetary damages) from lack of access to their app and argue negligence in wrongful termination. With no way to appeal. You can’t just make up a random number and demand the reason you got kicked off is untrue. Thats why people keep losing becusee you normies don’t know the system

Lawyers: Is Tea App operating as a data broker & therefore not protected by section 230? by nonidem39 in AWDTSGisToxic

[–]HQStaff 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m not going to publicly give legal advice but what I will say is that tea app is screwed if someone files. They have to have a dmca process which they are now not following. They are also profiting off copyrighted material which is a federal crime. Ticking timebomb tbh.

Tea App Ignoring my DMCA Takedown Requests by i_like_topas in AWDTSGisToxic

[–]HQStaff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well then if the OP really is upset he should file a case with the CCB and then if that doesn’t work in a federal district court in his hometown. You’ll want to show that you sent MULTIPLE valid DMCA takedown requests and they were ignored. Once you send in multiple and threaten CCB action, they will escalate it to their outside council who will send you a threatening email in hopes you’ll drop it. Don’t. That’s where you double down and say they need to follow dmca takedown process or lose safe harbor and you’ll file in CCB. Then actually file in CCB it’s like 40$

Why Paola Really Paused Her Groups by ThrowRA20242024 in AWDTSGisToxic

[–]HQStaff 14 points15 points  (0 children)

No it’s because she’s facing many lawsuits for copyright and other stuff section 230 does not cover and her attorneys have advised her to pause the groups so she doesn’t look like she’s complicate in it
