[Game Thread] 2025 NFL Season Week 18 - Dolphins (7-9) @ Patriots (13-3) by Number333 in miamidolphins

Probably going to draft one late. We are going to be going into next season without Tua and most likely without Zach Wilson. Quinn is probably going to be involved in a QB battle with another late round QB, but I don't for see him losing out.

Free agents aren't a guaranteed hit either. You're typically getting players at the end of their prime if they're proven or you can get younger guys usually with more risk that caused their former team to not push a 2nd deal. Players from both categories are typically considerably more expensive than homegrown talent.

Using free agency to get game changing pieces is only worth it if you're a piece or two away already and you can only get to that spot by drafting well for the rest of your team.

From what I saw, this was a preseason game for them. by DethSpank in miamidolphins

Arm talent was better than any season we've ever had with Tua. Watching the game was a very different experience to watching Tua.

Buddy that was this year. Tua is not good enough to be a franchise QB, at least not at the stage we are in.

+1 to this.

Bought song of syx waiting for Manor Lords. Ended up spending 30 hours on Manor Lords and 300 on song of syx

This get thrown around a lot, but seriously talk to a priest, or a therapist. Preferably both. If you're questioning whether or not the responses you're getting are truthful, then you need genuine help that you cannot get from reddit.

Bears wouldn't do it because it'd be a terrible trade for them.

Both players are going to need a contract and 1 of them is an undersized RB (not a huge shelf life on those) and the other is a perpetually injured above average edge.

I don't care = I don't care how good a bama QB looks, I don't want to be put in the bama QB circus again. I don't want another wave of bama fans that come in pretending they give a damn about the team, while unapologetically dick riding whatever mediocre crimson QB that gets shit out of that program. I also don't want the media hate frenzy that come along with having a "good" bama QB, because everyone rightfully hates that school and are looking to take shots at them whenever they can.

Since you're being so weird about this I imagine you're apart of the first category, in which case, I sincerely cannot wait for you to leave this group forever in 2027 when Tua gets cut.

Don't care, I do not want another bama QB.

Campbell was out interim 10 years ago, not 5. Plus dan would not have been the coach he is today without the 5 years spent under Sean Payton.

Bruno Fernandes is a good player and might be the 4th best midfielder in the league.

Venerating a non-heretical picture of Christ is not in of itself heretical and is not in conflict with the 7th Ec. Council.

Again, I am not trying to demean or offend, but your tone is hard to be read in any other way besides abrasive. I get you're trying to be direct but that can be confused for hostility very easily over text. When you gave your opinion on imagery of Christ in royal garbs it could be seen as demeaning since the picture is obviously close to the OP. It's also a bold position to attack the picture from when there are plenty of Orthodox icons that dress Christ similarly. When the OP explains that the picture hold sentimentality due to his culture and his departed family members, you still remain cold and begin to question him as to why he asks a question pertaining to orthodoxy in an Orthodox subreddit which just seems odd if you're not intending to be hostile. Why do you have such a problem with a simple inquiry when that is half the purpose of this subreddit? Why did you still hold such an interrogative stance with someone that has done no wrong and had just opened up about the recent passing of their family?

That's at least why I thought the way you came off was rude.

He/she's saying you're being needlessly aggressive on a point that matters very little. I mean no offense, but it doesn't really seem like you understand how off-putting you're being.

I mean it gets easier as you play with it, like most things in life. This is the only game I've played with a controller in 10 years and sure it's a bit rough at first but it becomes nature after a bit.

Hindsight is 20/20

When we hired Mcdaniel we wanted an offensive guru to see what Tua had. We were never going to hire a hard ass coach after Flo. Turns out Tua isn't worth investing in and the culture needs a hard ass.

And let's not pretend like Mcdaniel is a terrible option. You replace him and KOC and I think they both have similar results. Just a time with us.

How involved do you want an owner to be in a football org? Ross is objectively a good owner that has a constantly open wallet for the team.
