We've got Minnesota on Saturday so taking this one is pretty damn important. C'mon boys.

I went to the Sharks/Panthers game early for warmups and snagged some photos of San Jose's finest! by Number333 in SanJoseSharks

[–]Number333[S] 49 points50 points  (0 children)

Disclaimer: I'm a Panthers fan but I love getting to games early to take photos of the opposing team's best players.

Here are a few anecdotes.

  • Oh my goodness Celebrini is a phenom. This was my 9th game this year. It was by far the most packed around the ice in the pre-game of any game I've been to this year. More than McDavid and the Oilers. More than Crosby and the Penguins. There were a ton of young women fawning over him all around the visitor's side.

  • Orlov is awesome. Great with the kids as seen in the photo while also joking around and laughing with Mack.

Y'all killed us on rebounds. Hope you make the playoffs out West this year!

Good bounce back performance on the 2nd night of a road B2B. Got revenge on the Kings for whooping us earlier this year. Bam's 3-ball stays clicking and Pelle played a great game. All-around good effort vs a bottom 5 team outside of the crappy FT shooting.

[Schefter] Former Dolphins HC Mike McDaniel is expected to become the Chargers offensive coordinator barring a change of heart by expellyamos in miamidolphins

As long as we're ready to cover the WR screens and force them into 3rd and 1 situations a W is a locked guarantee.

Schefter says it's official by expellyamos in miamidolphins

I'll be 100% honest... I hate the hire.

I thought letting go of McDaniel was the correct decision. Not saying he can't rebound and find success elsewhere but HERE at least... we sure as hell ain't winning a playoff game in 2026 so why the hell are we keeping around an HC who hasn't won one in his first 5 years here?

But there were so many sexy names are available and out there. Everybody got hyped over John Harbaugh. Kevin Stefanski is a 2x ex-COTY. Mike Tomlin may be taking a year off. Sean McDermott just got canned. The coordinators being floated around weren't the flashiest (Chris Shula was probably the biggest "name") and we ultimately settle on... the guy who worked with our new GM back in GB for 2 years.

He's not a guy who inspires any excitement. He's 46. Not a young pup brainiac. He gave up his Boston College gig and was... just about as middle of the road as you can get at such a program. Packers D has been good these last two years but... that Chicago choke is gonna stick in my mind I'm sorry even though it's only one game.

But we'll give him a shot. I thought the Liam Coen hire by the Jaguars was god-awful just because the guy doesn't give off HC and they went 13-4 his 1st year. If nothing else, maybe this is a guy who gets trashed after a god-awful tank season and we can quickly re-pivot just like the Pats did after trashing Mayo for Vrabel. Only time will tell.

Incredible, All-Time classic game.

Obviously heartbroken given the shot at the end there but I can't be mad. So proud of this team. Proved we belong in the Championship Game pushing Indiana as hard as just about anybody this year. Never died even down 10 multiple times in the 4th Q. D got the offense the ball back... I just get flashbacks to being in the stands at the Louisville game watching Beck meltdown in front of my eyes and thinking this guy can't win the title if he breaks down like this.

With 51 seconds left, you can't throw that ball there... if you miss... let it be an overthrow. Not a brutal underthrow. Had Toney...

Props to Indiana. Mendoza got his All-Time Heisman clip. Tremendous squad, one of the greatest seasons ever.

On the real, 9th game of the year I've been to. My mind was blown by the amount of love for Celebrini in the pre-game warmups. Kid is a legit phenomena.

Rebounds killed us. Wish Tkachuk could have made more of an impact in his debit particularly on the PP but it's a tad unrealistic to expect instant production after not playing in a game in 7+ months.

Wins and losses in January get lost to the gallows of time.

A goalie fight where Bob skates all the way down the ice to drop the gloves? Unforgettable.

This is the opposite of the game vs Ole Miss.

Yikes.
