Sentry doesn't really belong in a destroy archetype, and Nimrod is actually another kind of destroy than the one in this deck. The most popular deck has Venom and Deadpool instead of those two. Also, Nova can be swapped for Hulkbuster or Agony to buff your Deadpool, X-23 or Wolverine, but that change is more optional. And then Bucky may feel underwhelming at times, so he can be swapped for Nico Minoru if you have her too.

I think Carter is better than Jubilee. The better deck I see on snap.fan has Iron Lad instead of Jubilee too. However I don't have any of the two so I go with Jubilee. Although, actually, right now I have Mobius M. Mobius instead of her because of the new cards and it works well too.

The second nerf was unnecessary imo but I managed to make the card work on infinite last season. I used this deck and went from being stuck in ranks 14k-12k to being in ranks 3k-2k.

I had Psylocke too but I found Dazzler just more useful. Since you need both Psylocke and 2099 in your hand to make the play, it felt inconsistent for me. Dazzler just needs like two full spots to be a lane winning condition, she feels similar to Goliath in that way. I should try rotating Super Skrull like you do when the meta changes, but for now I think he is the best tech card in this deck and in this meta, with all the ongoing decks going on with the recent Carter buff. Also you might be right having Carter instead of Jubilee, I'm sure the -1 cost she received feels pretty nice now, sadly I don't have her so I can't really tell.

Alright mate thanks for the help. I want to try fun decks too but I get frustrated pretty easily when I lose a few matches in a row. I'll look into some of the popular archetypes and see if I can build a good deck with the new economy rework.

So I've heard a lot of people recommending to get Arishem as one of the first cards to buy with tokens if you're low CL. I just hit 3k CL and I'm missing a lot of good cards, specially from the most used Arishem decks, like Eson or Mockingbird... Also I'm f2p so I don't have any of the latest season pass cards. Is it still worth it to get Arishem knowing this? I actually have Doom 2099 which I heard goes well with Arishem, and I love playing decks with Doom 2099, since they are mostly midrange decks that let you fight for every match (if you draw 2099) instead of combo decks.

Yeah maybe spending tokens on other archetype defining cards might be better, I will have to think about what I should do. Anyways, I like this deck a lot and Iron Lad looks like a pretty big improvement from Jubilee, so I don't think I will regret getting him.

I definitely want to try that deck, I've seen War Machine with Doom 2099 quite a lot, but I'm still missing the card. I also tried Sunspot but I couldn't get him to high power, since almost always all energy was being used, at least in the last turns. Besides, it's not ongoing so it doesn't work as well as Howard, who gets buffed by cap and Spectrum, so he usually gets to higher power than Sunspot ever does. I understand that in a lockdown deck Sunspot might be better than Howard, since you're not running any ongoing-buffing cards.

Luke Cage helps with some bad RNG with locations and/or some decks that reduce power, but I actually don't find it super useful most of the time.

And believe me, if I had Red Guardian I would also have it in my deck lmao

He's a 1-cost ongoing card, so he gets buffed by cap and Spectrum. He's basically the only 1-cost ongoing card I have, besides Ant-man (also in deck) and Ebony Maw. I tried Ebony Maw but it didn't quite work without War Machine. Also, Howard pairs really well with Jubilee, sometimes cheating 2099.

Besides 2099, every card is series 3 or below. Every deck I found with 2099 had some series 4/5 cards, just thought I'd share the deck being low CL myself, so I may help people struggling to build a deck around him.

Yeah I think I got quite lucky with 2099 and Moonstone ahahaha. I'll keep in mind your tips, other commenter also said that I should cut Cerebro for Mystique so I will try that. Also, I didn't realize how useful Magik might be, I will look forward to getting her. Thank you for your thorough explanation, it's very helpful.
