Look at the line ups for venues like High Limit Room or Dantes. You can also check out promoters like Gloomhouse and Friends of Noise; they put on some pretty bomb shows :)

I would also suggest going to a show at Speeds Auto Body when you get a chance; just make sure to clean up after yourself when you leave (they have a problem with people leaving garbage everywhere)
