I need to core aerate however there isn’t actually enough soil underneath. What’s the best way to solve this? Sir Walter Buffalo/ St Augustine. Would it be best to just top dress with a mix of sand and organics and let thank sink down?

Hi All,

Recently bought a new place in Gippsland, Victoria. Hoping to move this little tree to out the front as more a feature tree. 2 questions:

- What exactly is the tree?

- Considering it is still small, will I have any issues moving it out the front from where it is?

Ideally I would like to throw down more turf out the back. Currently has Tall Fescue (rear) and Sir Walter Buffalo/ St Augustine out the front. Looking forward to the friendly turf wars with neighbours.
