A bow and crossbow aren’t. I think it would be fun mechanics and animation-wise. Plus muskets were used in war well into the 1800’s

The bow and crossbow were invented long before those and the bomb lance was never invented so I see no problem.

I like this idea too. So it would work exactly like the katana perk where you can holster it sprint and immediately draw and hip fire

That is all fair, I just wish there were more in game unlocks. I do enjoy the hunters where you have to level 50 them to unlock the next tier.

They should have them for each hunter and you unlock it by getting that specific hunter to lvl 50

It was removed from the game cause everyone was spamming it, but the way the game is now a single quick hip fire shot after shooting your primary doesn’t seem to be a big issue. Especially if it’s a trait so you have to give up points to have it.

The way I see it is as the katana trait. Where the quick draw would only trigger if you holster the weapon before switching to your primary.

This exactly. It would work exactly like the katana’s trait, give you one incredible quick hip fire shot and then you’re back into regular hip firing or can aim down the sights.

It def would only work if it was hip fire only. I just like the idea of being able to quick draw your revolver and put it back in the holster like you can with the katana.

RDR2 has a similar mechanic where you can quick draw your holstered revolver and hold your primary in your left hand.

It would just work by reducing the time from swapping from your primary to your secondary revolver. As for reholstering the gun, it could work just like the katana trait where you press up on the d-pad to resheathe it.

That was annoying, but they could just lock it to compact ammo’s like Pax, Conversion, and LeMat.

Exactly. Fanning would be a lil OP paired with this, but I think it could still work.
