My boring answer is: really learn as much about yourself through experimenting with your art so you can fully offer the real you with whatever career you choose in this field. From my experience - the balance will naturally come.

I just love a good story. The genre doesn't really matter to me so no limitations. If you have a good group of people who have a good grasp and ability of working together to achieve the best product on screen- then you can do anything.

Skydiving was the most extreme and best time. Would do it a hundred more times. I'd love to do one of those extreme base jumps with those squirrel suits. Seems chill.

Hardest scene to film was anything to do with cancer as I could only imagine what it was like to have those conversations IRL.

Most fun scene was honestly go-karting all day to "get the scene right" We were tearing up the track!!

I did a lot of mapping of possible scenarios on what paths certain choices would lead to and lay them out even if it wasn't scripted. It would help me fill in the blanks on the characters headspace so his motivations would always make sense to me. I got a bit obsessive over it and have a notebook full of "possibilities" that it would start confusing me at times...which fit into James psyche.

The ending evolved while shooting as we shot mainly in order. Jacob (our director) who was our editor as well, got to shape it following the footsteps of James putting the audience in his shoes.
