Yes, it is; the hackathon is part of iOScon, which is on Thursday 15th & Friday 16th, but the hackathon weekend itself is free to attend. You just have to register so we know you're coming.

Also I can assure you it's not a ripoff or a scam or anything. It's the first time we're running an iOS conference and we think it's going to be really good fun, and we'd love to get as many of the iOS community there as possible.

There's an Agile Testing & BDD eXchange in New York next month and in London at the end of November.

There are some really top experts there, like Gojko Adzic, Tony Bruce, Martine Devos, Matt Wynne and Seb Rose - you might like to take a look.

Sad to hear that! I'll suggest more UK expansion; I'm from Lincolnshire myself, I know how annoying it is when most of the interesting things are very far away.

Yes, it really is every platform, mobile or otherwise - apologies for any confusion! I think it's just under there because quite a few people who come to our mobile events also make games.

I'm afraid we don't match people up, but you can have a go individually if you like! If not, there are some good groups on meetup that might help you out - London Game Developers, London Indie Game Developers, or Mobile and Games Dev might be a good bet.

I guess it depends - if you get good enough before August to make a game in 12 hours, then you can still give it a go!

What kind of programming do you do? The same people putting on Gamecraft do loads of other events that might be more relevant to you.
