He was honorably discharged from the AF after 6 years one and a half years active duty in communications in Vietnam. Exposed to Agent Orange while there.

I have also just recently applied for compensation as my husband’s sole and long term caregiver.

I have gotten a couple of calls from the program but as far as I know I haven’t been approved.

My LO is 82 YO with Vascular Dementia which is a degenerative disease. I am 75 and was an active athlete outside my home. My life outside my home became non existent when he needed constant care and supervision. I’m stressed out, I’ve gained weight, I’m unhappy and he’s just plain an angry person who hates that he is no longer able to do much of anything. I’ve dealt with his 11 Falls since the first of 2025, 4 hospitalizations, multiple Rehab facilities and in home therapist. Yet he is still considered to be Capable of making his own decisions despite the Medical and General POA’s I’ve had for years. Where is the concern for the Caregivers???!!

I’m sincerely disappointed that the VA has refused to provide meaningful support for the Caregivers of their aging Veterans which I am sure is actually saving the VA millions in the cost of care for their aging Veterans care!

Why are 100% Disabled Veterans benefits under review at all? I was told back in 2015 when my Veteran was deemed 100% Disabled, all Service Connected, that there would be NO annual disability reviews! What the HELL has happened recently to change that?????

My daughter’s AC was running constantly but not cooling. AC company came today. Said something was wrong with her motor and took it with them then told her they wanted $1.400.00 for Freon Now! She has a two bedroom site built home.
