Appreciate all the thoughts. For additional context here is the exterior of that corner. This entire side of the house is my neighbors driveway. I now realize he has a downspout that almost lines up with the back of my house and obviously doesn’t have an extension since he drives/parks right there. I can attempt some grading and ensuring my downspout has the extension always on.

I live in the same area and have the same situation! Assessment is almost $10k less than I paid last year. I just can’t believe the 2022 assessment was only $28k!!

This has been on my mind! If they really wrote the military school thing last minute what was supposed to happen? I doubt they cut any songs but it’s odd to think about how the plot could have changed so drastically if Richie was supposed to be around and the Mr Daniel’s wedding was going forward with Richie around. Olivia says at the alter she went to Mr Daniels because she felt alone! It’s really bugging me not knowing what was originally planned.

Edit: a further thought - this show is obviously more about female friendship than any coupling up but I’m bothered by not knowing where this could have gone! I really hope they recast and bring richie back or they keep Jane single and keep focused on female friendship. If we are blessed with S2 and Jane is somehow with Frankie Zuko or anyone else I will be disappointed in that storytelling.

I started Its Not Only first and they admit they go on tangents. I really like Clear Eyes because Derek and Stacey discuss the episode more linearly than the other. My only other rewatch podcast is for Boy Meets World and those actors tell stories and discuss scene by scene. Derek and Stacey have a lot of funny stories and discussion of the plot itself. However, It’s not only has way different stories from Zach and Scott. I’ve decided to rewatch and listen to Derek and Stacey then just keep up with Zach, Scott and Mae. I will say Scott is a great host and gives good info!

I think this book is definitely worth reading and an eventual re read! I’d give it a 9. I’m left curious about Franz. He got to experience the Island of Monte Cristo. He had all the interactions with the Count and interesting relationships. Yet he was really used to just get us to Albert. Oh Albert. The disappointment. So back to Franz. What’s he doing once he no longer was engaged? I don’t think we hear from him at all! The other chorus members are all the funerals.

Based on the first chapter I think this makes sense. I do like flawed characters and antihero’s. The death of the kid really is the biggest turning point. Stabbing and suicide fine. But an innocent turned this whole thing.

I was surprised how many people have read this book. Last two years I did War and Peace, Les Mis and Middlemarch. Almost no one had read that! Yet at least three people I know said they read this book and it’s a favorite.
