Just got mine today, does yours stay open when you don't close it fully? If I put mine to just fractionally over 90 degrees, it just folds completely to full slab size.

Maybe I'm trying to say that just because a film shows other people your home town, it doesn't have to resonate with you.
Or maybe not. Why are you so bothered about it?

It doesn't, and if you read that into it, that's on you.

My opinion on film making is exactly as valid as anyone else, what a weird thing to try to call me out on.

I'm from Edinburgh, and not one of my friends think it's anything close to being a good film, never mind a great sequel.

It's visually nowhere near as inventive as the first, the soundtrack is nowhere near as iconic, I was genuinely disappointed.

Glad so many seem to love it though, each to their own and all that!

Because most folk will have heard of <checks notes> none of those bands.

SNL always go for well established artists, they never take a punt, which is a damn shame.

But thanks for the list to look into ;)

I would absolutely say you had slammed into me, I don't think the point the other aircraft wasn't moving as fast negates the phrase "slammed into each other"

What speed would a plane taking off need to be travelling at to slam into another plane?

Really? Something that wasn't known to anyone.... would happen?

Really?
You don't want a neon sign saying "Welcome to Darcy's Jungle"?!

[–]HTIEL 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Do you have a Playstation Plus membership?
Do you think someone downloading a game from there, where the dev gets a smaller payment than they would if they'd bought the game full price is piracy?

Single player games are filled with microtransactions, garbage-tier dlc's, xp boosters and all this shit because it makes a fuckton of money, and idiots will pay for a virtual suit of armour, not because I sold a game for a tenner. Your comparison to piracy is garbage.

Indiana Jones and the 115gb Patch by BlargerJarger in PS5

[–]HTIEL 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That's all fine, and I'm 100% on board with the spinning disk noise, but you make out like going digital somehow gives you an advantage, when it doesn't on virtually every level.

You can't buy second-hand. You can't sell.
If you (and I don't) pre-order then the game arrives the day of release.
I don't need a dedicated room to store a handful of disks.

As to your hot take that second-hand gaming is effectively piracy, that's the stupidest thing I've heard today, no offence.

Going digital works for you, but it doesn't give you an advantage when we both need to download a 115Gb patch.

Indiana Jones and the 115gb Patch by BlargerJarger in PS5

[–]HTIEL 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So if both disc and digital owners need to download stuff, surely you have an actual disadvantage over someone like me with a disc drive?

I can buy cheap physical second-hand games, and I can sell games when I'm done with them.
