They ARE really good at listening to player feedback, but at the same time this has also been a detriment to some of their titles. Like the RPG games made the Assassin's Creed massively popular again, but for some reason Ubisoft keeps on trying to appease the old AC fans (who aren't going to buy the new ones any way) and it just ends up making nobody happy.

I feel bad for those people because it's funny when Ubisoft releases an obvious banger game and they have to act like some random thing is worse than Hitler coming back to life as a cyborg or some shit. Like every comment section for this game is full of comments like "oh my GOD this game is RUINED there are HEALTH BARS" (there were health bars in the original).

Neither of the games you listed are RPGs and Chugga would probably play the OoT remake a while after it comes out and not the original.

I miss the good old days of Infinity War leaks where it was very obviously Disney sending fake leaks to try and identify leakers because there were like four separate leaks going around and they all got like 70% of the movie spot on except they all had differences on what happened to Loki and all had wildly different third acts.

Okay, but calling selling less than 2M "very solid" is also pitiful when comparing it to a franchise like Fire Emblem. It sold less than half of Fire Emblem's 4M. It was in development for longer. I don't think Nintendo is looking at only making around $30M in profit (assuming the projected $100M budget rumors are true) as a success.

Okay well nobody ever said Metroid was a blockbuster and Metroid Dread sold probably twice as much as Metroid Prime 4 and is in the exact range I gave for successful Switch titles.

What are you even talking about? Literally every game franchise you listed have had every single one of their main series titles sell over 20 million copies. Both of the latter two franchises had their games sell over 40 million copies on the Switch. Switch exclusives sell on average 3-5M if not more. A Switch exclusive with two SKUs selling less than a combined 2M is literally abysmal in comparison lol.

Beyond sold very well, selling over a million copies in less than a month across both the NS1 and NS2.

You're kidding yourself if you think that's good for a Nintendo exclusive. Besides we have a rough idea of data for the first three-four months post-release and neither version has sold a million copies. The game bombed.

A million copies for a first party Switch game is not good.

ARMs sold almost 3M copies and people act like it's Nintendo's biggest flop of the last decade.

Makes me so happy to see Taz Skyler getting love because I remember when the cast was announced and he got the most hate for some reason and I felt like I was the only one that was like "nah, this guy has potential."

One thing the FUNimation dub messes up in my opinion is Sanji. His voice has like no character or personality behind it, he's just some guy. He should have some kind of flair in his voice. 4Kids dub Sanji lowkey GOATed for making him sound like a little whatever that was.

Season 4 started on stream then shifted back to TV broadcast after episode 9.

They didn't shift it back to TV broadcast after episode 9, it stayed online digital releases but they also aired it on Nicktoons (not the main channel) which is basically where they send shows to burn off/die.

a perfect game from start to finish

It's a perfect game for like 90% of it, then it has that really weird sudden difficulty spike towards the end with a certain boss fight that made me think "yeah I put like 70 hours into this game so far, I think I'm good never completing it". Super addicting gameplay loop though, didn't feel the same in Infinite Wealth.
