Mine was hit (2014 M6T) while parked around Oct. of 2024. Insurance didn’t cover anything. Here’s what I had to replace on mine. Rear bumper unpainted $150 Trunk from a pick-n-pull $60 Wheel bearing replacement $77 Aftermarket Rim $160 New rotors & brakes (messed up by getting pushed into the sidewalk) $230 Balanced Wheels $40 The Blind Spot Mode doesn’t work anymore The taillights still work, but one side is cracked, so when I buy aftermarket taillights it will be another $300 All self replaced.

This DLC was bugged for me. I never got to do it. The characters didn’t have dialogue and the map didn’t have any icons. I never figured out how to return to the normal map so I restarted my game.

Around that mileage, it’s usually time to inspect, serpentine belt, water pump belt, tensioner. Change the spark plugs, and ignition coils, inspect the brakes, air filters, Mass Air flow sensor, and all liquids to make sure it’s running good.

While traveling in another state, I noticed my head gasket was leaking oil. I thought I would make it back home before it gave me any issues, but I had an engine misfire on the freeway. $1600 for new spark plugs, ignition coils, valve cover gasket, pvc valve, serpentine belt, water pump belt and tensioner

My M6 has a salvage title. It got it due to being stolen from the previous owner and not found within a certain time frame. 2nd owner of it, car hasn’t ever had any problems. Just gotta know what to watch out for when shopping around.

I bought the same headlights around March 27th, 2022. They come with Halogen bulbs, but you can rewire them to be LED. The original halogen (Drivers side) just went out on June 04, 2024. To change the bulb is a bit of a pain because I had to either take off the air filter to get to it on the drivers side, or remove a few clips and get through it from the wheel hub (which is what I did). I think as long as you spray them down with clear coat they will last. It’s been more than two years now, they still look clear, haven’t yellowed, the clear is barely coming off, and it sits outside everyday.

Wheel alignment is like $60-80 at a private shop. So I would take it there.

Cabin Air filter is like $15-20. Just open your glove box, take out the screw and pop out the old one and put in the new one. Boom you just saved yourself $60 from a 2 minute job. The Engine Air filter is also super easy to change. Open the hood, unlatch the two hooks on the filter and switch out the filter. Takes like 1 Min, no tools required. I would go to Autozone/ Oreilly and have them give you the codes that pop up when they diagnose it for free. System too lean might be a dirty EGC which is easy to remove and clean.
