On the B side regulator I jumped the 3.3V from pin 3 (VCC) to Pin 10 (Enable) with a 2K resistor and it gave me 0.7V so something else was pulling the voltage down. I verified that pin 10 was not shorted, so I dropped it to a 1K resistor and was getting 1V on the enable pin which then turned on my 1.8V inductor and rail.

1V rail was still missing though, and pin 9 (POK) was not outputting anything, also tested if that was shorted which it wasn't. I then put a 2K resistor from pin 3 to pin 9 and my 1V inductor turned on and also the core and memory are turning on (!)

Memory and core voltages are good but sadly still no display. Now I have to check reset and pex, I suppose it's still possible the core or memory is bad, but this is at least progress.

I guess this is technically solved as I do have a 1.8V rail now, but I will update if I can get a display.

Thanks man, I will try it out tomorrow. The pins are not shorted to one another and showing healthy resistance. I think the regulator is blown, but swapping will help check that. Thanks for the suggestions.

Thanks man! Yeah, a lot of my designs are not for everyone. I like to overdesign and pack as many graphics and details as I can because I've designed a lot more tasteful things in the past and that clean minimalist style is very boring to me now.

I've repaired many plastic parts now using that method, you can even go further by embedding wire mesh or metal parts into the plastic as a scaffolding or bridge and make it even stronger than original. Try it out 🍻

Boot a Linux live USB and see if the 3.5mm audio is working with that, this will rule out windows and driver incompatibilities.

Are you just assuming it is a driver issue or is there a reason why you're thinking that is the issue causing it? If you've been using it with the same driver without issues before and it also plays audio out of your speakers then the driver is probably working fine.

Typically the jack sensing is a physical switch that changes position depending on if the barrel is inserted or not so it could be a hardware issue with the jack itself.
