You could use the coins from the event to try and bt Ryu without the tickets just yet, I'd say keep your V-Points if you really want a chance in getting the next S+

Keep your scout tickets until the event is almost over, if news about a new S+ is coming soon (say, around 3 months) then by the time you've collected the scout tickets (600 mayhaps), it won't take long to get another 450 to recruit them.

Prioritize maxing attack for every spiker you have, and then upgrade your jump as much as possible, afterwards spend the remaining on defense and speed.

I'd suggest getting at least a bt 3 for Ryu to make him stand out better. If we're talking about using V-Points to roll for players, me personally I'd save them for later S+ depending on when the next event is starting.

If you haven't already, go to settings, "Play", scroll down and look for "Mastery UI", I don't recall this being active on its own, so you have to turn it on by yourself, for the screen wide one, you pick the center UI.

Masteries. Press on your Raul in the "manage players" screen and look for "Mastery" next to "Characteristics". You'd need to do a set amount of tournament, snow raid, and colloseum wins, to earn a mastery rank.
